Founded in 1956 

Max Kaufman began crafting stairs in Linden, NJ. Now a third generation business, Kaufman Stairs, Inc. has grown to become one of the largest stair manufacturers between Massachusetts and North Carolina.

The commitment to quality and affordable pricing helped Kaufman Stairs to grow beyond Linden into a larger facility in Rahway, NJ. Now, Max’s two children, Alan and Barbara, move the company forward with those same commitments to quality and affordability.
